Metallica are trully the God's of thrash metal, sure the whole load-reload thing was a load of old bollocks but there were a couple of AMAZING songs in there as well....FUEL anyone??? i've seen them 11 times and they are by far the best "BANG FOR YOUR BUCK" band I have ever seen......my entire teenage years were all about gigs, over 600 under my belt and I still think they are the best.

As far as instruments goes, if i played the drums i'd look like Animal from the Muppets, I can play 1 song on a guitar or base.....twinkle twinkle little star:rofl:

Metallica, easily the greatest metal band that ever lived. Up until S&M to be honest though! When Jason Newsted left, it's been downhill...

Opeth?? Stewart you'd be amazed you haven't been listening to them until now. "The Drapery Falls" and "Atonment" are GREAT reviews for their unbelievable work...

Salute !! One of their new greatest songs would be Coil, Watershed album. The Drapery Falls is a priceless number !

Hiten, theyre not Melodic. I advise you NOT to say that when they come here. Trust me my friend ! They are a Progressive Metal band, with influence like Jazz and Death.
InFlames ? Theyre great to, one of my favourites for them is Clouds Connected, theyve got some good sound ! They were her at DDRF 07' too.

About the whole Metallica issue, in my opinion theyre expired *flame suit on* .
They stopped making Metallica songs when Cliff Burton died. He was there spot of magic, and Lars ? Of all the bands I know, over the years drummers add different things to their playing style. Or even change it entirely. But, they still manage to spice it up a little every now and then. Lars on the other hand, the most boring drummer Ive ever heard !!! *BB, there more!*

Lars is still one of the most talented drummers out there...And he plays like it; no need to perform stunts on stage to prove it ;) But ditto on Dream Theatre's Portnoy *watch below*. I also happen to think Jon Muyong their bassist is one of the greatest to ever play bass!!
