Roll Cage job 80% completed its just need the rear two bars and final welding.


Skining the doors for more weight reduction.

Just a small change in my roll cage using a ''V'' shape looks better then Cross one ;)

BEEN SLEEEEPING FOR SUCH LONG TIME SINCE LAST UPDATE ,
Roll Cage job completed Finally
( Ali ( Welder) been alot busy in the past two month)

Updats on Stages:-

- Roll cage job card completed
- Reinforment of tower bar + transmission Area ( final Touches of welding)
- Painting underneath area (rust proov+ WHITE paint)
- Installation of front + Rear suspension coilover + subframe and bushing
- Installation of Fuel cell ( lines) + Break lines
- Sending the car to the paint shop for ( Wideing Rear Finnders + paint job)


These steps above will hopfully finish within a month

The project has been parked in our garage for a while for some research and development in order continue with same target plan
On October we’ve started to work again and focusing in major jobs which I have listed in previous thread, the below is the summery which I have completed.

STAGE1

-Stripping the car Done
-Shaving body, welding and chassis reinforcement. Done
-Building Roll cage with 1-5/8”x.083 Chromoly (4130) 8 point roll cage Done
- Paint Chassis, engine bay and interior with white colour (changed to gray) Done

STAGE2

-Upgrading Subframe and Crossmember with Solid Race Bushing Done
-Upgrading Suspension with coilover for Drag Race application (D2 coilover) Done
-Upgrading the Brake system (waiting to order slotted/dried brake rotors)
- Braded fuel lines and racing fuel cell (my next plan)

Still have a lots work to be done and I summarized as follows;

-Changed all glass to Lexian Plastic and build door frame for extra support
-Widening the rear fender so it can fit 9 to 10.5 tyres
-Build new FG trunk with bigger aerodynamic wing
-Take the car to body shop to delete some of unnecessary body holes and paint in with new colour (not decided yet ).. I might stay with the existing one

I hope the body will be ready at least on the first quarter so I can focus on my engine build and inshallah start doing last STAGE 3,
for time begins enjoy watching project progress

Local made subframe solid aluminum boushing for better stifness ..
