The challenge lip is quite aggressive , you have any pics of it on your car ?

That was it. Lowered Car + This = Huge Problem

That's why I got the splitters, I know they don't look as good as the lip but the lip is not practical.

Not the case with me and a lot others mate,

I had front lips on all my cars (the supra, the lexus coupe and the M ) and it became more of a driving style.. You have to drive a bit more carefully with a front lip.. Specifically a CF one..

The hamman front lip I had on my M for the last 2 years is intact till today, and it's even lower than the challenge one by at least 5mm

Quick Update :

The Car is at Munich Motor Works and Ashley / Joseph is working on it as we speak , I've cancelled the POLIMAR job and opted to do everything with MMW , I've negotiated all what I wanted to do in the car with them and they covered every job even the upholstery changes - Alcantara pieces I want to replace - .

Engine has been removed already & they are preparing the rest of the body for the Paint job :)

Rod bearings replacement is in progress and I will know very soon if the main bearings is up to spec or not ( I really hope they are okay otherwise its an 18K job ! )

The CSL Trunk : Had a talk with the MMW Body shop guys for a possible CSL "High Kick" modification on my trunk , they are prepairing some drawings soon so we can see how HIGH we can get that CSL trunk 8-)

I'm talking with Dinan (Via MMW) now for 4.10 Diff :love::love: will make a decision on that this week :)

The car will be ready Nov 20th as per ashely because of the paint job . while I wont make it to BimmerFest im sure ill be there for the parade .

I aint gonna paint it but Ive decided to wrap the entire intake airbox and elbow with DEI Reflect A Gold Thermal Sheet





Im also match painting the valve covers with the Harrop SC color & texture theme :)

If they are going to open up everything, you might as well change the main bearings also. The bearings themselves are not expensive.
