because of the extra (front Fog light) switch I need !

you do know that our cars came equipped with rear fog lights (but its not enabled -no switch-) and No front fog lights , DIY'ers used to either get the Euro Switch or modify the existing switch to enable the fog light switch . I opted for this unit cause its not only has the rear fog light button but a front one as well that I can use instead of the fugly after market switch I used earlier to control the raptor AE's .

It's the first time that I come to know that some cars have dummy fog lights. Maybe it's only US Spec thing. [MENTION=31]Wazif[/MENTION] do your rear fog lights work?

POLIMAR is basically your only option if you decided to repaint your car with a non OEM color but you still want OEM like quality of work & attn to details . if I was repainting the car with the original paint I would've done it at AGMC but they (agmc) were the one's suggesting POLIMAR and when I visited them I was honestly impressed ! .

LOL @ "Dummy fog lights" they aren't actually dummy , they are there with bulbs and everything but no switch

And Yup , all american Spec M3's (E90s and 92s ) dont have them , it can only be enabled the way I did , yours is Gulf spec=Euro Spec so you have the switch

The mechanical work

So ..... The most important part of this project is the engine/drive train job , and yesterday I booked for a visit to the fellas at Munich Motor Works this Sunday to do the following :



1- Complete inspection on all sensors ,pipes,fittings and re-torque everything back to spec .
2- WPC treated Rods & ARP studs installation
3-CSF Radiator Installation
4-M24 Oil Cooler Installation
5-Harrop SC installation
6-Rear Sub Bushings installation
7- Suspension re-calibration
8- Bullet Exhaust installation - wiring the remote control/vacuum tabs

Getting all parts packed & ready to ship to the workshop on Sunday :)

12-10 update :

After a couple of emails back and fourth with the boys at EAS it turned out that the ARKYM front bumper will take longer than expected to produce and ship so I had to make a quick decision , I got my self a new Euro bumper thx to "Ehssan" and ordered a couple of Carbon goodies and im guess the car theme went from Aggressive to " OEM+ " some how now :)

Here is what I got :

When I was almost loosing faith on finding a headlight set for cheaper than $1K ...I found these :)


And for only $150 LOL :) , this will make sure to have a set of Clean as f*** headlight look :)

LOL , I've mentioned Munich Motors , Polimar ..etc as well , why Ehssan :)

he is working on my car ( NBT retrofit , Iconic headlight project ) , the car this thread is documenting whats happening with it and I assure you no one is advertising here ,chillax ;P

Now back to the E90 :) , i spent the afternoon at Munich motors finalizing the items on the "to-do" list with Ashley / Joe and Ehssan :P

Apparently it will be easy to inspect the main bearings while they are installing the WPC rod bearings and if it was a tad below spec Ill change them as well . Apart from this we are on schedule .

I might also do the paint job with Munich M but its not confirmed till tomorrow .
