how much would running such a rally cost?Meskovicthis is as far as i understand (correct me if i am wrong) a public forum, where people share ideas on how to make the bmw lifestyle better and more pleasurable and enjoyable..where we benefit from others mistakes and learn from our own ,share experiences..all in a common goal to make everything and everyone better, not the opposite.. do i need to remind everyone of all the laughs we had and how many times we shared food and shisha together..how many times we all stayed up late to fix anothers friend (brother) issues?? This is what makes a community, us, people..a common understanding and fellowship..respect

Inscription is 780 GBP and you need to raise a minimum of 1000 GBP for their charities, after that you are on your own.sigpic

JL, KIA PICANTO!
1.1l 12V 4 cylinder, in the 70hp range if I'm not mistaken. Really strong suspension components, beefy pressed and welded steel control arms, McPherson set up up front, horizontal bar out back. Syncro 5-speed with cable clutch, weighs 970kgs.
I built one for my cousin last year, coilover conversion with sport gas shocks. CAI, sport muffler, ground cable upgrade, spark plug cable upgrade as well. That little thing really goes for a 1.1L, and it's a 12V. Most engines that size are SOHC 8V. Stripped with coilovers and some geometry tweaking it cut corners as good as a GTi!!!sigpic5/94' E36 318iS 5-spd

Dear Friends,
Most of you knows that I will be participating to the Mongol Rally this summer 2012. (http://www.theadventurists.com/the-a...s/mongol-rally)
But I NEED YOUR HELP.
We are team 'The Inglorious Drivers' - one of nearly 200 teams taking on the challenge and consist of Olivier and Jean-Loup.
The idea would be to leave Belgium in our old 1.2 litre car all the way to Mongolia (around 16,000kms) and cross many countries without any proper road network.
Why are we doing all this? Well to raise money for the Lotus Children Organization à http://www.lotuschild.org/
The Lotus Children’s Centre is a Mongolian non-profit, non-government organisation working with vulnerable children and families to provide the basic human rights of shelter, food and education. We care for up to 150 abused, orphaned and abandoned children at any one time. Initially set up to provide basic needs for survival for just a handful of children in one apartment, Lotus has developed a kindergarten and a primary school to provide educational foundation, and is developing vocational pathways for employment opportunities.
How can you help? We have created two team T-shirts that is on sale online and can be shipped anywhere in the world. All profits will help us raise the necessary money to donate at the Lotus Children Foundation. Only men size are available right now in small, Medium and Large, other sizes will come later, but as of now, buy one T-shirt will help one kid. So buy it for you, your brother, sister, friend it does not matter as long as you help us raise that Money for the kids.
You can find the T-shirts:

Looking forward to your support.sigpic
