Interesting... is it effective though?

It is, as you'll see from the video, a rear wing that's split in two. An onboard computer adjusts the angle of the individual wing sections in real-time to give the best downforce and cornering ability without affecting straight line speed.

In other words, when you turn the wheel, the inside flap tilts up to increase downforce on the inside wheel. Straighten up again and the wing flattens off to reduce drag.

    What do you think?!

I think to a certain limit it might be effective... please note I'm not aerodynamics expert, hehe

this is as far as i understand (correct me if i am wrong) a public forum, where people share ideas on how to make the bmw lifestyle better and more pleasurable and enjoyable..where we benefit from others mistakes and learn from our own ,share experiences..all in a common goal to make everything and everyone better, not the opposite.. do i need to remind everyone of all the laughs we had and how many times we shared food and shisha together..how many times we all stayed up late to fix anothers friend (brother) issues?? This is what makes a community, us, people..a common understanding and fellowship..respect

Looks like it is just a wing that is broken in the center  ... but F1 cars will be totally redesigned for 2009 and will have a similar split rear wing configuration

Welll, it seems to be effective. But, numbers make a difference.

Track testing and lap times will prove .

Big enough to make it look like a Veyron wing... moreover petrolhead is right, it looks like its broken, but fixed with some glue
