Ah, i see JetPilot's reputation is good, he'll be chuffed! I've just got off the phone to him and i'm calling him back in a minute, but i won't boost his ego by telling him that he's known and liked on the BMW Club forum!

He's joining me later when i get new tyres fitted. The old ones are completely shot and as the M3 is (a) really powerful and (b) a new drive for me, i thought it best to just get new ones asap. He's recommending Hankook S1 Evo's, which is a bit over my head but he's sufficiently in-the-know for me to take his advice. Any thoughts?

I assume that's your Z4 Coupe - or did it used to be yours? Stunning mate. I saw it advertised on Evolve and a few other places but i was too late, it had been sold. I would have snapped that up in a second, i love it. I look forward to meeting you at an event and having a good look at it...

Mate, i know how you feel! I miss my 330ci Convertible too, which i sold to a mate before coming to Dubai. Obviously a very different car to the M3 in terms of performance, but for me still the best looking convertible on the market.

you had a very nice 330 vert, specially with the Sports Kit ;) but ur steering wheel is on the wrong side :tongue:

i also had a 330 before my Z4M, but it was a coupe :)

My M3 doesn't a the nav system like the 330, which i'd quite like to get. The nav will be useless here but it's a nice bit of kit for many other reasons. I know i'm going to get ripped off my AGMC so i'm tempted to get one from the UK (maybe off ebay where they go for reasonable prices) and get my mate to bring it over with him in late October. He'll love me for that!
