Hello all...new member here with a completely stock BMW E31 850Ci Platinum Edition 1999 Model...

Loving this forum and damn excited to contribute and learn...

My cars under improvement...but one thing at a time...since budgets an issue at the moment...

Please...any suggestions are most welcome and would love to learn and improve!

Basically Platinum Edition was the 8 Series made after 1997 for the Middle East with extra options such as Leather Interior all around with Wooden Trimming everywhere as well as a few more options...only 58 or 59 of these were made

850 CiA Platinum (Middle East) (1998-1999) 59 ex

This is a reference site for all those who want to learn up a bit on this gorgeous but no longer in production machine...not to mention not that well known in this region either!

Man, I can never forget how I felt as a 10 year old coming back to Dubai Airport from a summer vacation and seeing an 850Csi parked at the Duty Free! It was like looking at a space shuttle inside and out....It was what they said it was, way ahead of its time back then.
