From my experience they would.. There was a pothole in Sharjah that damaged several cars at the same time on Sharjah Ring Rd, and Police ended up coming and giving reports for everybody.

I paid a visit to AGMC today, the engineer check the car and lifted it, saw no damage on the suspension bushes and said that he can feel some flat/bumpy spots on the right front tyre and that this could be a problem of wheel balancing.

I'll be going back on Sunday to get the car road tested by the specialists and they should be able to tell me what exactly the problem is

He said for wheel balancing and alignment (the works) it'll be around 2000 dhs (bullshit)
I was thinking after the road test i shall go to Future Tyres (recommended by the people here) and get it all done for way less than 2000 dhs.

      What do you guys think?

Shouldn't this be somehow covered by the insurance/warranty ?

If they do find suspension damage, then he said it's covered under warranty and I won't have to pay anything. But not sure what the problem is.

Took it to a tyre place today, Al Hawai tyre they are the dealer for Pirelli tyres in Al Qouz, took the front right tyre off the car and ... There was rim damage. Gave the car today to a place ColorGlo for repairing the rim which will take 3 days now. Let's hope it works out for the best.

Good luck!, hope that resolves your issue.

When I had my old E60 I went through the exact process, in the exact pothole, except my issue never got resolved due to replica BMW Shrj rims

                    Update:
Since these are cast aluminum rims, they could not be repaired as the guy said any attempt would crack the rim.
Went back to the tyre place to check if the back right rim had any damage and, yes it did but smaller compared to the front one.
Went to AGMC and spoke to the advisor, he said repairing is not possible and now to be safe you should get new rims (got the price quote also for 2 rims, not as much as i expected but still a lot)
I asked if there was any way insurance could cover it and he said if you get a police report then they will, he said call the cops but i said they only count for damage they can see so,
Option 1) i curb both the rims on the right side so that it pleases the cop and i get a police report (insurance covers the rest)
Option 2) i have a pic of the damage on the inside of the rim so should i go to the police station and show them that? saying that the cop couldn't see damage when i called him to the spot so i got it checked and here it is.

I think i should try #2 first and if it doesn't work i should do #1.

...Forgot to mention that if i do get a police report done, he said that when insurance comes to check the damage on the car in the bodyshop, he will inform them that the rim cannot be repaired hence it has to be replaced and that is how i will get new rims.

for future reference can you list the parts that have been replaced so that we have an idea of the possible parts that are prone to failure in such a senario?

As far as what happened to me was just rim damage, from what i saw it was just the cost of replacing the rims, swapping them out for the old ones, wheel balancing and alignment. I'm lucky that there was no suspension damage. And i also got Nitrogen filled in the tyres from Tyre Express.
