Original Xenon colour..??/ brake light failure..!!

hello bimmers,
I have two questions:please:

1st: I wanted to install xenon, but I want to get the color of the original xenon. When I asked the Spoor shop in sharjah, he said that he have the xenon machine for 6000 Kelvin, but he will change the bulbs with 4300 kelvin ones to give the original feel. It is bosch but Taiwan.. :(
So any previous experience in this, or there is any original hella used xenon??

2nd: I have sometimes the check control sign showing 1 brake light failure..
But when I check the brake lights they are all okay, and sometimes when somebody sees the car from behind, he tells me one of the brake lights is not functioning. So sometimes on and sometimes off..!!:bricks:

Any input on these two issues is highly appreciated

on/off problem might be a bad connection ....check the harness branches to the rear lights one wire might be cut and causing the intermittent operation (due to bumps or vibration for example)

dont get original .... too expensive - short life span..

I'm using 50W 6000K Xenons on my original Ballasts and they're perfect.. they cost me around 110 AED (each - Bulbs only)

i also installed that bosch for my previous e36 with ballast and bulb for 250aed. i bought 2 set for high beam and low beam. i think its good because its cheap you can easily change it if its not working.

Thanks mahmoud, I will check the wiring, I think this is the problem because i have changed the rear light and the same error

Thats seems assuring, I will go for the bosch ballasts and bulbs, but ernest did u install 4300 k or 6000 k..??

You may try reseting the battery as well !! ;)

Ive got 6000K installed on my E39 M5 as well, im using them for the high beam since my low beams are already xenon but 4300K..

Id suggest you to go for 6000K, pure white but much brighter than the stock 4300K..

4300K will not be 100% white..

i installed 6000k hi and low looks nice in white.

but i wanted to install 8000k hi and low but it looks like a ufo from a distance because its all blue. so i didn't bought it.

I can see everyone votes for the 6000 k, but my fears are of the COMMERCIAL look which I hate.

Someone just tell me that this will not happen... and I will go immediately for the 6000 k

May be the 6000 k on the flashing light will be perfect but for the normal..??

I use 6000K for the flashing light and it blinds the person in the front cars, i suggest go for the low beam with the 6000K as well, but if you want stock then go with 4300K with the low and 6000K with the high beams..

I think that the lens that is inside the head light itself controls the beam and give it the original look
