            it's true ,,it's all about hot followed by cold , nothing to do with compressed air .. and this is applicable on metal only ..

                On bumpers all you need is a hair dryer. Just heat it up and it will pop back into original shape

                    wow ! lol that seemed very cool !! ...as well am thinkin ..will it make it even worse some how ?
                    i think it works only on small dents !!! but am so trying it tonight :D

                          I doubt it would fix a simple door ding. The issue is the metal stretching when you get a dent so even if this trick works to "pop" it back into place, you would still have a wave I am sure.

                              I assume they have paintless dent removers here? If so, the good ones can make it look like new again without the cost of respraying a panel! Good luck.
