But MINI was never really any competition.

They only ended up brining attention to MINI. And that is what MINI actually wanted. So, MINI wins, even when it looses.

I tend to think otherwise, Mini did get to build alot of hype around the event but i think they wanted to prove that on a tight track a Mini will take away the power advantage of bigger cars through its superb handling and small size and punchy engine (Italian Job style). Porsche came and even took that away from them even on their own designed and highly unfair track :P

This entire mini advertising strategy might have been fun for some of us at the beginning but now it’s taking a different direction. Btw I never digested their advertisements and will never like them.


This is by far a very humiliating childish and a very feminine strategy taken from a marketing perspective. No straight man would think of ending a message with “Love, Mini” that’s just too :ghey:

I wish BMW gets rid of Mini and for once uses the money in building one single proper car that can actually beat a porsche boxter with a 1.3 yaris engine. (it’s a metaphor)
