Track Day at DA - 1st Of July 2011

So Yorky , if Im in the Novice group I cant have a passenger with me ?

I could use some help from Hasan if I can convince him :P

Is this on the 24th June or 1st july ?

If you have done two Track Days previously, and DA have your details on record, then you can qualify for the Adavanced Group - in which case you could have a passenger with you.

If you have no previous experience, then you will have to drive with all the Civics in the Novice Group! hahahahahaha

You would be more than welcome to come and watch. You can walk around the pit, take photo's and also get on to the pit wall and take photo's of people coming out of turn 16 on to the main straight.

There will be a very good selection of cars there too!

Gents,

4 days to go before the Track Day.

I would ask all those participating to be at Dubai Autodrome between 16:30 - 16:45. (a number of people (scoobies) are meeting up at the petrol station next to LULU Hypernarket/MOE on Umm Sequiem Street at around 15:30-16:00 to fill petrol tanks, stomachs and get drinks).

Make sure that you remove all lose items from your car, wear closed shoes (DA will not allow sandals/flip flops etc for drivers).

All those wanting to come and watch and take photo's, I will be at DA around 16:00 - 16:15, registration is at 17:00 - 17:20 (would be great to have a group photo), plus have photo's of the cars both parked and on the track.

We have been told that we will have a dedicated Pit Garage just in case you forget to unload your car so that you can put your stuff there.

PLEASE, PLEASE bring plenty of liquids with you. I will have two cool boxes (not large) full of water and drinks - but we have 29 people turning up, so not many to go around.

On behalf of BMW/Evolve Club, we are really looking forward to seeing you there - should be a very good turn-out and a greta evening.
