What is the criteria for registering as an advanced participant?

Must have done a minimum of 2 Track Days before according to DA records.

Each passenger has to pay AED50 and have a helmet (can be hired from DA at AED50.

I think its the other way around. You can have a passenger with you only if you are registered as an advanced particpant.

Gents,

Final details have been submitted to DA and the Time-table for the Track Day is as follows:

17:00 - 17:20: Registration
18:00 - 18:15: Track Evening Briefing
18:25 - 18:45: Group A (Advance) Session 1
18:45 - 19:15: Group B (Novice) Session 1 - includes 10mins of familiarisation
19:45 - 20:05: Group A Session 2
20:05 - 20:25: Group B Session 2
20:30 - 20:50: Group A Session 3
20:50 - 21:10: Group B Session 3

You will note some gaps in the timings - there is a Suzuki Swift Cup Race happening the same evening.

Reminder: If you have put your name down to attend, YOU MUST SHOW UP, many of us have taken the opportunity to avail oursleves of the discounts being offered by DA for the Track Day. If you do not turn up, you are not only letting the Group down, but Evolve and the BMW Clubs.

ALL participants should note the following:

- Be at Dubai Autodrome at 16:30 - 16:45
- Attend the Track Evening Briefing (if you do not you will not be allowed to participate)
- wear closed shoes (sandals/flip-flops/thongs will not be allowed): shorts etc are allowed
- Passengers must pay AED50 at the Registration desk
- Helmets can be hired for AED50 for the Track Evening (pay at Registration desk)
- I have notified DA who requires an Instructor (AED300 per 20min session): you will have to pay when registering.

PLEASE BRING PLENTY OF LIQUID REFRESHMENTS - IT IS GOING TO BE FECKING HOT - TOWELS ARE ALSO A MUST (I will provide some but my cooler boxes are not that big)

PLEASE: remove all loose items from your car. A Pit garage will be provided for our dedicated use so that we can all store Cool boxes, lose items, tools, rims etc, etc.

Sadly, we can only have 16 cars in the Novice Sessions as DA have already received 4 confirmed bookings, so some of us have moved to the Advanced Group.

Bring your Wives/Girlfriends/Friends and give them a camera - we need loads of pictures for the Forums.

Look forward to seeing you all there. Remember, we are all relying on eachother to be there to enable us all the get the discount that has been offered us by DA.
