As promised, winter will be full of events and here we are with yet another great one, only made bigger. The BMW Club UAE, in collaboration with MINI Club Dubai, are glad to invite you to register in the Fujairah Sprint event taking place on the 26th of November.
Bring out friends & families for the great mountain roads, sightseeing, and outdoor BBQ. It's nothing short of memorable.
Below are the event details:
Date: November 26th, 2010
Rally Point: Dubai Festival City, ACE Hardware parking lot
Destination: Hajar Mountain, Fujeirah
Fees: 200dhs per driver, 50dhs per passenger, kids are for free!
Timetable:
- Starting Point: 7:00AM to 8:00AM
- Safety briefing (MANDATORY) @ 8:00AM
- Taking Emirates Road towards National Paints RA @ 9:00AM
- Friday Prayer at Fujairah @ 12:00PM
- Pick up drive @ 1:30PM towards Hajar Mountain
- Destination Reach @ 2:30PM
- BBQ lunch / Photo shoot @ 3:00PM
- Heading back to Dubai @ 6:30PM
P.S.: For those who want to stay overnight in Fujairah, you can do so at your own expense. Please feel free to check different hotels around Hajar Mountain Fujeirah (they are not more than a 20 minute drive) and book accordingly at your convenience.
Registration:
Registration is effective as of today. Cut-off date is 22nd of November. No entries would be accepted after said date. We have only 25 slots for this drive, so make sure you’re there first! PLEASE DO NOT list your name on the list if you are in doubt about making it to the drive. Payments can be made to any of the board members or at Das Autoworks Service Center until the 22nd. :)
Before registration, please make sure you go through these notes:
- ALL participants must come to the rally point (ACE Hardware) with full tanks. There will be NO FUEL STOPS along the way AT ALL. For those who forget to fill up fuel will be left behind. This is crucial to us as we have planned the day based on time.
-It is MANDATORY to be present at the safety briefing. You will be confirmed for the event during the briefing.
- Light breakfast snacks are distributed at the rally point.
- Participants will be divided into color-coded groups.
- All participants are asked to sign the event disclaimer form releasing the organizers from any responsibility towards any possible mishaps to their cars or injuries to themselves and their accompanying passengers.
- Safety and proper conduct is key for all of us, any deviation will result in immediate expulsion.
- Get extra clothing, chances are it's cold out the, especially in the evening.
- Mountain passes will be organized with board members taking the lead. PLEASE, nobody goes out on a drive alone under any condition.
- Payment cut-off date is November 22nd. No exceptions.
- We are accompanied with a large crowd from a sister club, please put on our best image.
- God forbid, in case of rain or bad weather, for the safety of our members, the event will be postponed to a later date.
- Slots will be prioritized to MINI and BMW cars. Other cars can participate, but will need to contact the club mangers prior registration. The event has around 25 slots, so make sure you sign up first!
- If you have registered and paid, and decide to cancel, refund will only be available pre-cut off date (22nd of November). Otherwise, it is non-refundable if you decide to cancel post that date.
