Alright everybody, here are the details for Friday's Hafeet trip:

Time table:

- Rally point: ACE Hardware parking lot in Dubai Festival City
- Meet up time: 9:00 AM
- Move out time: 10:00 AM *SHARP*
- Refreshment/re-fueling stop: ADNOC gas station just outside Al Ain. *PLEASE come with filled up tanks from the night before. There will be no earlier stops*
- Arrival in Al Ain:12:00 PM *Friday prayer can be performed in Al Ain*
- Resuming trip: 1:15 PM
- Arrival to Jebel Hafeet: 2:00 PM *TENTATIVE*
- Leaving Hafeet: 9:00 PM *TENTATIVE*

- Abu Dhabi participants can organize their trip details with our AD rep. Tariq (CAVEMAN here). Contact him @ 050-2620324


Rules & Regulations:

*Please note that your adherence to these rules is THE key to this event's success, the best way to guarantee participants' safety and reflecting the best image of the UAE car clubs*

- ALL participants must sign a disclaimer form releasing the event organizers (BMW Club UAE), individuals and entity, and the rest of the car clubs, individuals and entities, from any responsibility toward themselves, their accompanying passengers, cars, and properties shall anything happen and cause injury, damage, or fatality during any point in the event. Failure to sign the form will render you illegible for the event.

- Given the big number of cars, it is imperative that each group sticks to its designated pace car throughout the drive. You don't need to worry about directions, pace car does.

- ALL participants are to stick to the speed limits set by the pace cars allocated on the rally point, which will not exceed the legal speed limit going to/from the event venue.

- Any form of reckless driving displayed during any point in time will AUTOMATICALLY result in the participant's dismissal from the event. Please do not force us to apply this rule :)

- No consumption of alcohol or any other intoxicating material would be tolerated during any point in time by the organizers.

- Participating cars would normally stick to the second farthest lane from the left to assure we would not obstruct highway traffic.

- Please familiarize yourself with your designated group and have the pace car driver's number handy in case you need to communicate.

- Once at the BBQ venue, please make sure trash is collected in REAL TIME.

- BBQ will utilize a self-service system in which ready grill sticks are available for your pick up and grilling.

- Let's all help each other in setting up and packing our venue.

- PLEASE be ON TIME for the rally point to attend the briefing and sign the disclaimer forms. Missing the briefing might render you illegible for the event (unless organizers had the time to brief you again and place you in one of the groups).


Fees: AED100 per person..

Please note that by confirming your attendance, the BMW Club UAE will incur your cost and pay in advance for you. We will be opposite to SHUE Cafe in Jumeira Beach Road on Thursday evening around 8:00PM onward. It's very appreciated if you could swing by for a get together and event fee payment.

We have our Club chairs, but we strongly encourage you to get your chairs if you have any. Also, wash the cars up for random photoshoots ;) BMW Club UAE members who still need to pay their membership fees can do so on Friday. And DO NOT FORGET YOUR WINTER APPAREL! It's COLD up there....(not that we mind!! :D)

Please relay this programme to your interested friends and participants. FAMILIES, FRIENDS, & SPOUSES are most welcome to our event and we'd love to have them on board with us :)
