RTA Registration

Hey guys-

I am in a weird situation with my car and registration. My registration expires Dec 12th. I leave Dubai for 3 weeks on the 11th. When I get back I plan to sell my car. My questions are:
-Can I sell the car with no issues if it is not registered?
-If I have to register it, is it then transferable to the Owner?

Tried looking it up on RTA's site, but obviously that led me nowhere.

regardless of the status of the car... any new buyer must test the car and start from scratch.

the insurance is transfarable to the buyer if the seller agrees to give it to him.

And the fine for late re-registration is only 1 dhs a day after a 30 day grace period, so I would just let it go till you sell it.
