Insurance for e46 M3

M3 owners,

Where have you guys insured your M3s? I am currently with Royal Sun Alliance and paying a huge amount for full insurance. I am looking at a much cheaper option.

Any info will be highly appreciated :)

guys call up Xservice and ask them which insurance companies they deal with, as this is the fastest way to narrow down the search for most convenient deal

How much is a M3 insurance?

Just out of curosity, I called my friendly insurance company, AXA for a quote.

A 2004, M3 Cabrio @ AED120k with private parking came to a staggering AED8.5K. Moreover, this is with my 50% NCB and I am already 36.

Is this right? Wondering what you guys are paying? Any recomendations?

I'm paying AED5K but that was miraculously done! I couldn't help another fellow M3 owner to secure the same deal....I think the guys are paying around AED6K.

Thanks. Just read the other posting in the General Forum about the insurance. Guess I need to read more before I post anything in the furture.

Anyway....do you believe that AXA charges me more for a coupe then a cabrio? Their system registers the M3 cabrio as a cabrio naturally, and the coupe as a sports car. So, sports car more expensive they say.

dont value the car for 120k ......put the value for 100 or 90k and for 8% would be somethin like 6000AED !.....

My M is insured at 5.5%, but that was a special deal.............lol
