Well, they are the same company, so they're not ripping designs off...'technically'. It's like accusing Infiniti and Acura of ripping Nissan's and Honda's off. Having said that, I haven't seen the RX vid yet, but I've never been a fan of FWD SUVs. Nor of the new shape of the RX, looks like an uglier Camry with a 3" lift kit (and I thought that wasn't possible).

So I was reading about 6 series having problems with shifting from 1-2 and 2-1 and I came across this thing called transmission reset ? U have to keep the acceleration pressed in the kickdown position for 45 seconds and then drive it and " your car will get used to your way of driving ".
What's all this about? Does anyone know ?

I have herd about an SMG reset, but it has nothing to do with the accelerator.

I have herd about an SMG reset, but it has nothing to do with the accelerator.

Apparently what you have to do is press the start button once , without pressing the brake, so all the lights come up. Then u press the pedal in the kickdown position, which is when u press it full for about 30-45 secs.
Then you turn the engine on and drive it.

My gear shifts have became really jerky and the car accelerates only when it feels like it. Also sometimes I take my foot off the break while in D and the car doesn't start moving.

You get these as a paying member I believe - PM one of the Mods or Ayham... you will notice some in the pictures from the drives ;)
