as for camera's the best in digicams i'd say would be cybershot .. its sony, but apart from that . .i'm not too much into them now . . but i think sony is reliable

Can i achieve some decent pics from Sony cybershot or shud i look for something in Canon or Nikon ?

you can - like normal everyday pictures, people, places, landmarks, landscapes, cars . . everything . .but the focusing, crispness, background detail, *blur effect* (focus) isnt possible . . but yeah . .foreveryday use . .its brilliant

This new cybershot is 8 megapixels, ive got a fuji with 10 megapixels, will the sony turn out to be better than the fuji in my case ??

it'll probably have better features ( in terms of that new 'smile capture' and stuff like that . .fancy features) but quality wise. . the 10mp will giv you a muuuuch clearer picture.
Stay with the fuji i say! you;ve got a nice 10mp camera there man

I guess, no point of replacing a 10 mp with 8 mp, ill stay unless something interesting comes
