Observing the huge interest in this type of motorsports, and in an attempt to sway the powers to be to begin hosting such events in the UAE (besides the moronic SUVs/pickup trucks sad sideway displays), this here thread is a STICKY where you all can add whatever drifting videos you think fit the bill and would entertain us while in our day jobs sweating it for the man....

P.S: Considering the nature of drifting and dividing it by the number of drivers who do not understand the first things of elementary physics, please refrain from posting FAIL VIDEOS, no matter how compelling the urge gets.

I've got a good set from yesterdays RedBull Car Park Drift semi finals in Beirut but it's going to take me some time to upload them.

The finals are taking place on the 16th as well.

I hope we get more attention to this type of motorsport rather than organizing events for nissan patrols to play on a skid and call it a professional motorsport event :police:. We do have al ain, UAQ and I think even in yas island places to have drifting events.

Those events are very famous in Germany!!! I dont understand whats the difficulty to make such events here.. We have the facilities and people focus on letting 4x4s buring useless rubber.. Totally boring!! Lets try to make this happen here!!!!

This is something i would love to learn :drool: im not a fan of autocross or motocross, time challenges, cones whatever, but when something like this will be available ill definetely be in !
