We interview Jean-Loup De Reymaeker who represents Classic Recreations in Dubai and also personally owns and drives the red example (the first of the 'new' cars) seen in this video. He reveals how it's made, the various power configurations you can order and how much it will cost you to have one.

We previously showed you an illustration of how Classic Recreations’ new officially-licensed 1967 Shelby GT500CR would look – now we have the pictures. The first prototype has made its debut in Las Vegas.

Each hand-built car features a 427, 7.0-litre V8, custom paint and hand-stitched upholstery. Each car also gets an official Shelby serial number, badges and will be included in the Shelby World Registry.

The show car was kitted out with the 545bhp engine with Performance Pack – coil-over suspension, rack and pinion steering, Shelby-autographed interior.

The car will be coming to the region - Tradimpex FZE will be providing a ‘concierge-level’ service to car enthusiasts in the region wanting to buy this officially licensed, hand-built, bespoke classic-look muscle car. Read more here.

We were laughing hard, tearing, then laughing again at any given moment in this car! I'd hit it instead of a Porsche Turbo for the shear fun factor and exclusivity GUARANTEED when in one of these. :)

Well bad news though, my lovely Shelby GT500CR red and white is now gone to Cyprus, just sold it a few days ago.

Good news is that we will bring over a Supercharged one, well not really, it will be twin turbo (special order) with approx. 1000HP, still has to go through the dinno test but will keep you update.
