    Interested in Formula1 tip game?

    Hi

    i don't know if soccer or Formula1 tip games are as popular in UAE as they are in Germany (here, among friends and in many companies, the employees make tip games, especially for soccer world championship and Formula1).

    It works like this: before qualifying every player can tip pole position, fastest lap and positions 1-8. The better one tips, the more points are given. At the end of the season we know who was the best tipper of this forum.

    If some people here are interested I will create an online tip group where we can make our tips.

    this is as far as i understand (correct me if i am wrong) a public forum, where people share ideas on how to make the bmw lifestyle better and more pleasurable and enjoyable..where we benefit from others mistakes and learn from our own ,share experiences..all in a common goal to make everything and everyone better, not the opposite.. do i need to remind everyone of all the laughs we had and how many times we shared food and shisha together..how many times we all stayed up late to fix anothers friend (brother) issues?? This is what makes a community, us, people..a common understanding and fellowship..respect

      Hi

      what I know is that betting (for money) is not allowed. What I mean is simply counting points, without anyone paying/recieving money.

      But I am not sure if this is allowed or not, so please help me. The months I spent in UAE were not enough to know if this kind of game is allowed or not.

      All we get after each race is a highscore table where the forum members can see who predicted the results best.

      If this is a bad idea please let me know, I apologize for that......

          It isn't necessarily betting... I think what the OP means is something like those fantasy football leagues, where you pick your players and depending on how they do throughout the season, you collect points... and at the end of the season the one with the most points wins.

            it simply looks like this (a screenshot from last season):



            Score calculation:

            - Pole-Position correct: 100 points
            - Fastest Lap correct: 100 points

            - Position 1 correct: 150 points
            - Position 2 correct: 125 points
            - Position 3 correct: 100 points
            - Position 4 correct: 95 points
            - Position 5 correct: 90 points
            - Position 6 correct: 85 points
            - Position 7 correct: 80 points
            - Position 8 correct: 75 points


            As I said, I don't know if these kind of games are permitted in UAE culture.
            Noone gets anyting, the winner gets only fame.

                3. Tip the race in Bahrein.
