and now Toyota and Subaru have revived the spirit of the Hachi-Roku :D
with Subaru underpinnings and Boxer engine!!

2.0L NA Subaru Boxer engine with Toyota Direct Injection system, various sources estimates between 150 to 200hp (pretty wide estimates) powering the Rear wheels through a 6 speed tranny :). The chassis apparently is a Modified version of the Current Subaru Impreza.
Insiders have reported brilliant handling due to lower center of gravity and low weight.
Due for 2011!! :)
