Two years after the insaney expensive and exclusive Lamborghini Reventon was first displayed at the Frankfurt Motor Show, it returns to Germany in roadster form.
The jet fighter-inspired looks are carried over from the coupe, as is the powerful 6.5-litre, 650 bhp V12 engine, which will propel this hypercar from 0-100 kph in 3.4 seconds.
Performance and other specifications are likely to remain the same as its stablemate.
As if the Reventon wasn’t already priced high at around $1.5 million (depending on the location of sale) the Reventon Roadster will break the bank at around $1.7 million.
The additional amount is justified by the reinforcements made to the car’s chassis to compensate for the lack of a roof and of course the additional attention buyers will enjoy when riding in one.
