The guys at Bugatti must love making special editions of the Veyron.
Launching limited run special editions at the drop of a hat has been the trend with the Veyron and now the company has unveiled a one-off piece called the Veyron Sang Bleu at Pebble Beach, California. Even more special than the Veyron Sang Noir, only one Sang Blue will ever be made (this one is it) and might be auctioned off to the highest bidder. This model celebrates the legendary brand’s centenary and is as exclusive as they get.
Based on the open-top Grand Sport, the Sang Blue boasts blue carbon fibre and polished aluminium bodywork instead of using paint to give the two tone effect. This innovative combination is in tune with the company’s core values of Art-Form-Technique. The rear airscoops are also done up in the same nightblue color and the Sang Blue features unique Midnight Blue and Diamond Cut two tone finished rims to match with the exterior colour theme. The interiors are lavishly furnished with Gaucho leather in dark tan colour which the company claims was specially chosen for the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance show. Apart from these special features the Sang Bleu is identical in specifications to the Grand Sport.
Bugatti has until now sold 250+ Veyrons and 20+ Grand Sports around the world with many of them landing up in the Veyron-crazy Middle East.
