The phrase "Each to their own" doesn't apply here. If anybody thinks there has ever been a better Ferrari than the F40 then they're simply WRONG. If there was no F40, the entire automobile industry would still be in the stone age, racing machines included.

I cant diasgree that this a Masterpiece. But i truely believe that the McLaren F1 is a true Mechanical engineering masterpiece, and it's the best supercar ever built IMO.

It was built to the most ridiculously high specification for the 90s (when mortgage rates went through the roof and everyone's homes suddenly were worthless!) - gold foil and titanium toolkit, one seat in the middle, first car to achieve 1000 BHP per tonne; recently Top Gear raced one against a Veyron in Abu Dhabi...

Funny thing is though people love the F40 more. At this years' Gumball rally start in London (with the famous 'Ferrari Traffic jam'), more people followed the F40 than all the new cars.
