let the show off begin :runaway:
Also Sorry I disagree with you too.

    I will clarify something:

    1. How can you complete 5 big projects per 10 days without working beyond midnight?
Related to programming, one project = 10,000 line!!!

    2. How can you solve all homeworks (at least 5 homeworks per week) without working beyond midnight?
    1 homework = work of 1 or 2 day.

    3. How can you complete all these labs reports without working beyond midnight?
Most courses associated with labs like (electronics, circuits, Microprocessor1,2, VLSI, ect.... long list)

    4.

    5.
    .
    .
    .
    etc..

The problem is not of study,, to be honest we didn't have time to study!! all time spent to finish all stuff mentioned above..

Of course anyone doesn't complete all these tasks, will not complete study OR graduate with very weak GPA and will face problems when searching job.

But this doesn't mean that we didn't have fun at university :D we had lot of fun ;)

i never doubted that u didn't struggle to finish ur stuff on time back at uni..
i just disagreed with ur statement that to be an engineer you have to forget ur private life & u'll sleep 4 hours per day..

You guys can debate which is better for ever and no one can ever win!

It all depends on what you like and what you want in life, you study your options, decide a career plan and work to achieve it!

I personally had a goal to have my own business before I reach 30 years and I did it, really doubt I could have done it in any other major, My business in the field I studied for ;) unless your dad can buy you a Construction company or an Oil field to play arround with

But at the end it depends on each individual's goals, your goals are only yours :)

                  Now, stopthe off topic :D

PS: My dad wanted me to be a Doctor like him! FTL!

Ive studied Business Administration in here in Al Ain, but that was just a step on the ladder to land me with a good position for any job. I had worked with Emirates Airlines for a year to gain experience and after that year got a job with Dept of The President's Affairs in Al Ain, currently working in Purchase Dept and the job is interesting, but this isnt my goal. As Nabil said he had a goal to start his own business before he reaches 30, my goal has been exactly the same. With grace of God ive started my own business and in this field you dont need any degrees, you need experience and ideas to play your cards right.. I know where I am standing after 5-10 years.. ;)
