Great forum you guys have going on here (thanks to my pal ghoonk for introducing me to it). I collected my '08 Z4 3.0 on the 7th and am lovin' it!

Give me some tips for my car please :)

Ah, erm first things first, I see the phone buttons in my car but they don't seem to "work". Checked the manual that came with it but that doesn't say anything ... can I assume that the phone function is not available for my car? :D

My car also did not come with the GPS DVD and I wonder if I should go try and get one from AGMC...? Or let it go since I'm already using Garmin?

They should give u ur GPS-DVD for free !!! ... but anyway if u couldn't get it ... We can arrange one easily for u :D..... congtrats on the car

first of all :hi: and welcome to our forums.. and congrats for the new ride hope u enjoy the sweet 3.0Si ;)

u should get the original DVD from AGMC, don't let them rip you off coz it's a couple of thousand at least!

you should have a bluetooth phone (i had one in my 07 Z4M) & u must see it when u press menu on the screen.. you should check the car code which is in the catalogue in order to pair ur phone with the car.. it works really well with most phones ;)

if you want my tip of the day, don't drive the car on sand! :nono:

Yeap, checked the bluetooth... apparently there isn't even a mic so it is kinda confirmed that the bluetooth function is not available for my car :/

I have a question. For a newbie to a performance car (at least to me the Z4 is a performance car), how can I get the best potential out of driving my Z4? I mean, should I be on Automatic mode all the time, or should I practice using the Steptronic gears? When should I be using the Sport mode?
