Another E30 says Hello!!

Hey there folks,

I bought myself a beautiful '88 E30 325i Mtech-2 and I'm psyched about being part of this club. I've seen the turn-up and discipline of the club during the Grand Parade this year and I must say it's outstanding. I saw 2 E30 M3s at the Grand Parade and they were simply fantastic!

I'm restoring the E30 and here is a list of things I've done so far:

• Engine works - New Valve Covers & Manifold, Timing Belt replacement, new Alternator, new Battery, fix leaks & more!
• Suspension - Airlift Performance 3P Digital Air Suspension
• Wheels - Custom 2 piece Fifteen52 Mullets 17x9 ET10 in the front & 17x10 ET10 in the back (still being manufactured)
• Drivetrain - Z3 1.9 Short Shifter, re-insulate the transmission tunnel, rebuilt (stock) steering rack, rebuilt the Getrag 260 5-speed transmission
• Chassis - New rear subframe with adjustable Camber & Toe brackets (to be installed)
• Exterior - Smoked Euro Smiley Headlights, Opticoat 2.0 Pro+ Ceramic Paint Protection
• Interior - Momo Indy 350mm Mahogany Steering Wheel, Custom Instrument Cluster from Bavrestoration (to be installed)

There is still so much more to be done.

The next big thing is to do the interiors. I have cracks on the dashboard, need to re-upholster the leather inside and clean the whole thing up. If you guys have any leads on people who do a good job for Interior restoration at a reasonable price, do let me know.

I got it already! And installed. Works like a dream. Just need to work on my trunk setup and make it look better. Pretty basic setup for now. I think I should start a thread about it.
