Comprehensive insurance

Hello everyone. It might have been discussed earlier but - I am in the process of buying a E46 M3 from 2003. I would like to have comprehensive insurance even though it's more than 10 years old.. But so far, I have only been able to get third party.
I was told that AIG will do it ???

Can anyone help?

i haven't seen anyone give full insurance for a car that is over 8 years old. let us know if AIG offers such a deal

I got full insurance... Went to the RTA office Al Barsha, the insurance guys there found it with Methaq Insurance. Value 40000 AED, driver plus pax insured plus roadside assistance.. 3100 AED..

Full insurance will only be useful if it is a total loss.

If it is a minor accident, you will be better off not claiming anything from insurance.

I appreciate your honesty... But, I did'nt say that it was a good deal. And you're right. Usually, it's better to do minor thing yourself. But, I have had cars for 19 years now. And I like to know that if I screew up, I'm still covered...

Comprehensive insurance on cars older than 10 years is possible. Not cheap - but possible!!
