Hey everyone!
Just bought a '99 Z3 Ragtop, the same one Pearce Brosnan drove in Goldeneye, I believe. Yes, yes, rated one of the worst Bond cars ever, lol! But who gives a ****, I love it!
About 108,000 kms, silver, Japanese specs, the little tiny 1.9 litre engine. A total blast to drive and so glad the weather's good enough to have the top down most of the time. I had it out to Shak at the X and he didn't need to do a single thing to it. Nothing. A very clean car. I'm a lucky man.
At some point I wouldn't mind upgrading the exhaust to something a little more throaty if you know what I mean. It doesn't really have that "sports car" sound. The reviewer on a very old Top Gear (pre Clarkson I guess) made the same observation. I don't need it to sound like a muscle car, just to have a little more growl. Anybody got any thoughts on that?
Here's some pics, hope they come through.
