I bought a 2007 E60 last month and I am loving it.. I actually came across this seemingly nice forum by searching for a solution to something annoying in my car! i think it's related to something called "rough idle" !

happy to be here.. But I actually am struggling to find out how to contact DAS autoworks! Ayham if you read this please advise me how to contact you

well it's a 523i

I'm going crazy with the rough idle!! the car humms when its idle but surprisingly it works like a charm when i rotate the steering wheel 180 degrees. Being newbie, I have no idea why!!

It probably is your MAF sensors, keep us updated with your problem when it gets solved..

Beemers - I met Ayham on Saturday and he checked my car with his magical device! apparently you guys are right, it has a misfire in one of the cylinders, and MAF sensors are beginning to die. I would check with AbuDhabi Motors in the next service since I hope they can fix them under the warranty, otherwise ... Ayham to the rescue...
