    Hey guys, ruchik here...just picked up my e46 a month ago...imola red; red interior; SMG2; 03; 120k...i'll post pix soon.

    also, does anyone think it neccessary to flush the engine, brakes, diff n tranny after the purchase. i would like to make the engine feel fresh.

    any suggestion on what to do after pickin up a used M3???

    What Mileage have u got on ur car ?

    You might want to do the following:

    - Check Coils & Plugs
    - Change Fuel, Air Filters
    - Get a set of Castrol TWS (10W 60)
    - Go to *** (X-Service Center), check your front control arms, bushes, rear control arms, rear bushes, central bearing, guibo...etc.

        it's done 120,000 kms...also, i was readin up on the car and found sumtin abt an EML light, what should i do incase that pops up?

                EML light is an indication one of many sensors have gone bust, and more than often it's one, or both, your TPS sensors (Throttle Position Sensor). When EML light is on, your car won't rev as fast as it does now, that's called safe/limp mode. In extreme cases, it'll not go beyond 3,000RPM.

                  Welcome to the Club dude, in reply to your first question. Yes, it's always better to flush the fluids. If you have records and youre sure of them, it might not be necessary if theyve been changed not long ago.
                  But, for safety my advice would be give it a flush and ofcourse a thourough check at ***.
