    UAE Time Attack 2013 Round 2

    Dear all,
    There is an Extreme Super Lap event happening on 15th March in Yas Marina Circuit


    EXTREME Super Lap
    Type of event: Time Attack
    Location: Yas Marina Circuit Course: South circuit
    Date: 15th March 2013
    Racing format: 1 warming lap – 3 timed Laps – 1 cooling lap. (5 laps a session)
    Classes: 4 defined classes with sub-classes based on engine displacement

    Special offer for BMW Club UAE owners if one member join the event and pays 900 AED the other is free. So if you bring your clubmate you only pay 450 and the other 450. It is ussually 900AED to enter.

        Just tell everyone about it, one thing? You have to do it ASAP, if you don't get your novice license on time, you won't get in.

        Please read the rules and it will guide you to better understanding of getting in successfully. People register on last minute and show up with not, prepared on the event which makes things worse.

        I believe a good competitor alway comes prepared which leads them to be professional drivers.

        The more people to register the more challenges to other drivers to push their limits.

            Organisation & Status:


            The Yas Motor Racing Club run by Abu Dhabi Motorsports Management (ADMM) will promote and organize a

            National status race event at the Yas Marina Circuit on March 15th 2013


            The meeting will be held under the current International Sporting Code (the Rules), of the Federation Internationale

            de l’Automobile (FIA), the relevant Championship Regulations, these Supplementary Regulations and any

            subsequent written instructions or bulletins that the organizers may issue for the event.

            Event Title & Venue:

            The event will be known as the YAS Racing Series hereinafter referred to as the “Meeting or Event” and will

            be held on the Yas Marina South Circuit, Anti-Clockwise - 2.345 km using the Support Pits and Paddock

            Entries:




            Entries Open: On Publication

            Entries Close: As per individual championship instructions




            Competitor Elgibility:


            All competitors must be holders of a current, valid and relevant National race license, ATCUAE or Middle East zone issued as a minimum

            All competitors must have passed the appropriate Medical and meet any other requirements applicable to the event, its

            status and/or championship event or race event in question. In addition the competitors must have permission to

            compete from their license issuing ASN in accordance with article 70 of the ISC of the FIA, medical certificates and

            permissions will be examined during sign on




            Briefings:




            A briefing for all competitors’ will be held according to the Meeting Timetable

            The briefing room door will be locked at the commencement of each briefing. Lateness will be classified as nonattendance.

            Attendance is MANDATORY and non-attendance will be penalized as per the 2012/2013 published sporting

            regulations and the driver will have to sit through a separate briefing to be able to compete. The organizers reserve the

            right to call subsequent briefings at any time, should they consider it necessary. Such briefings will be announced via

            bulletins and / or paddock announcements




            Results & Protests:

            Provisional results will be published as soon as possible after each race. Any protests should be made in accordance

            with Articles 172, 173 and 174 of the present Code. The National Protest fee is AED1.500 and National Appeal Fee is

            AED 5.000.


            Insurance:

            All competitors are insured in respect of Third Party Public liability during official testing, practice and racing. They are

            strongly advised to make their own arrangements with regard to personal accidental injury cover and cover for damage

            to their vehicles and those of other competitors taking part.









            Scrutineering:


            Scrutineering will be conducted according to the Event Timetable

            For the scrutineering:


            a) All cars must be equipped with transponders

            All start numbers must be affixed on the cars

            d) All driver safety attire must be made available for inspection, helmet, gloves, overall, shoes, HANS device

            Only drivers and vehicles that have passed Scrutineering have the right to participate in the event (be on the “Start

            List”). The Start List will be issued after the Scrutineering closing time

            Late arrivals will not be accepted after the closing time of Scrutineering (see the Meeting Timetable)

            All vehicles must comply with Vehicle, Formula and tire regulations. In accordance with Article 128 of the Code, all

            vehicles must have suitable and sufficient protection for the prevention of passage of flame between engine and

            driver’s seat.


            Starting Position:


            The specific format for the events and qualification for races will be set by championship regulations or be advised by

            the organizers in any final instructions and or an official event bulletins or briefings




            Grids:

            Should the number of starters of any race during the event exceed 30 the organizing committee reserves the right to

            split the grid into two separate races on the grounds of safety

              Sorry it is not free for all, it was a mistake. It should be 900AED for two competitors. So if you bring your clubmate you only pay 450 and the other 450. It is ussually 900AED to enter.

                Naji can you tell us ahead of time? we scheduled a drive for tomorrow unfortunately. i would like to join in future events if the opportunity arises

                  Will confirm the next event upon finishing tommorrow event. We might have an idea when it will be though we want BMW's making fast laps. We have seen good numbers previously. M1 M3 and all Ms ....
