It was a very long day today that started at 8:00 AM till 5:00 PM at the Bahrain International Circuit. It did not start out good as in the first practice session I had a problem with my suspension on my front left side. As most of the turns are right handers, it effected my performance a lot. I was 5th fastest out of the 8 racers in my class. It turned out that a rubber bushing was going bad and there was not enough time to do anything about it before qualifying session. So while everyone improved in the qualifying session by almost 2 seconds, I lost a second and a half and qualified before last. Thank God I out qualified the only female driver in our class :rofl:
Before the race session the mechanics were able to tighten the bushing (whatever that means) and will try to change it before tomorrows race. Alhamdulillah, luck was on my side again as I was able to come third and secure my third podium in my first three races of the season. Insha_Allah I will have a bit of luck left over for tomorrow as I will start at the back of the grid again.

Sorry guys, couldn't make it to the podium this time :( finished fourth.
The problem was never fixed, still had the left front tire shake under heavy cornering and braking. It was a great race with a lot of passing and getting passed again. Unfortunately I over cooked the brakes early and was with no brakes for the final two laps.
The conditions were worse than the day before, and every body's lap times were slower except mine because i was limited by my problem and not track conditions. Still if I took care of my brakes a little better I should have finished third or even second since I did have the second fastest lap of the group. Next race is Jan 6th in Riyadh, got to go practice.
