u need to touch it by ur finger (from disc center upward) if u feel that area level till disc edge lower than the edge level that mean ur disc is worn out (the difference should be big. also u can check it through the i-drive.

The edges are a little thicker than the rest of the disc.
The iDrive says break service in 2000 kms. But I am not sure if its the pads or the discs. Or both.
i think both, i can tell from what u said the discs are ok but u need to be sure about the thickness....in my case when the i-drive said its due, both pads & discs changed. it has been done at DAS :)
Hassan Im sure your discs are okay. Your mileage is too low for you to change the discs. And I think if your discs are worn out , your steering wheel vibrates when ur breaking, again im not sure.
How do I know if my break discs are worn out or not.
