ABS light on dash

whilst driving home my traction control light and ABS light came on... i was not even braking when it came on. i started car again later and it was on again so not a computer glitch.... what could be the problem? abs module?

You should be having a new, lower limit on the RPM now. Try redlining it and tell us...

wheel speed sensor could be faulty...

It happened to me once and it was the wheel seed sensor..

I agree ,had it with my parents X5 it was the ABS sensor ....

will try it and see. happened when i was just driving in a straight line. but came up the day after i did a track day in the wet. possible water damage to sensor?

Could be water, could be some gunk that stuck on because of the water...
