most of the digital air pumps in petrol stations have PSI/BAR switch button , regarding front and rear pressure : you better stick to what mentioned on the label at the side of the driver door which is factory setup .

also read the user manual for the best result , it's very tricky specially in the summer ( 50C + ) .

Thank you Bisho, this is very informative.

one more question, Do you prefer to fill the rear tires more than the front ones with 2 psi as BMW suggest?

    Welcome to the club :D

The pressure mentioned on the car is in the unit of (Bar) or (kPa) if its 2.4 it is in Bar, and if its 240 then its in kPa ... the pressure in the machine is in (psi). if u want to follow the instructions on the car, then you need to convert it to psi, but usually it is 2.4 or 240 which equals 35 psi, that means u have to set the machine in the petrol station to 35 psi :D

    Tyre pressure

    Hi guys,

can anyone please explain the tires pressure mentioned on the door of BMW, it is always like (2.0, 2.9...etc) but in petrol stations in UAE it is like (32,34...)

and is it really required to give more pressure to the rear tires than front?

    Thanks
Working...
