    What size spacers to use??

    Hi guys,

I was looking to push my new csl rims out a bit. Looking to buy spacers however not sure which size would be best.

I tried to measure an approx measure for an aggressive look (rim aligned with body) and for the front it was like 12 to 15 mm. for the rear it was 5 to 7 mm.

Any ideas??? my rim size and offset are as follows:

    Front 19X8.5 ET40
    Rear 19X10 ET25

    Thanks :)

I was going to say 12mm upfront with 5mm in the rear. Your measurements confirm that...

12-15mm up front might be a bit too aggressive IMO :dunno:

      i'd recommend 10mm front & 5mm rear.... H&R is the way to go :D

Tire size? Rim offset? Lowering springs?

Okay so lets say i get the 5mm for back and 10 mm for front....

Will i need any of those longer bolts? or will the ones on the car do?

You will need longer bolts, spacers are sold with matching bolts...

for the back with 5mm ull be able to use ur bolts, but for the fronts ull need longer ones. May i add, for your M3 and if ur new rims have the same OEM offsets go with the 12mm spacers:)

^ I'm worried 12mm will be too much! I mentioned the offset and size, i have no idea if they are same as stock, i dont think so.

                          5mm spacers = stock bolts
10mm spacers come with longer bolts (H&R at least)
