Actually I don't think they are that light, maybe lighter than the Hartge rims but they are on the heavier side

you might be right, they got some of the stronger forged rims i guess but not really the lightest :)

So can we change your avatar Ayham and call you HILLBILLY instead of president, that was a funny comment, made me laugh.

I believe that OZ make the lightest alloys, I think they are called the “Ultraleggera” and they are only available in 2 colours, red and white.

Weight of the original piston and connecting rod (sorry I've saved the picture as being upright but when hosted it reverts back to the original angle):

Weight of the new piston and connecting rod:

                      hey guys,

this mayb off-topic...bt since we are talkin abt the engine here...does anyone know the factory/default degree and lift of the s54 engine cams...i'm thinkin abt replacing mine with schrick s65 cams...they seem to have decent numbers and would help in the mid-high rpm range...

This is the last update that I could find:

Pictures of the engine being assembled. I have loads more, but pictures of the engine being re-assembled look just like the pictures of it getting taken apart so I just thought I’d just post the ones of the first piston getting installed. I’m going to try and get a video clip of the engine being fired up as well.
