How to get a small number plate?

Here is the process of how to get the small number plate (AKA Sports Number Plate according to RTA):


1- Register your car or if your car is already registered, then you can skip this step


2- Take the front number plate to RTA then head over to the information desk and tell them you want to get the sports number plate, they will give you a ticket for the que


3- Once the RTA agent check your car model, BMW M3/M4 for example, they will tell you that it's not registered in their system as one of the cars that can have the sports number plate.


4- Tell the RTA agent nicely place get me an exception from the manager as it is a coupe/convertible and it IS a sports car


5) The RTA Agent will hopefully step into the manager's office and within 10 minutes, he/she will come back with the approval, take your old plate number and destroy it on the spot, then give you a paper to go to the plates manufacturing desk where they will print your new spots number plate.
