I guess you are talking about build sheet, just Google "BMW VIN DECODER" and you will get links, bimmerforums is very good source.

FYI , non of the websites will give you the factory options of any car for free .. there is a special software's/access to BMW Germany to have these information .. there are a lot of websites which offers this service for couple of $ ..

I usually do this for my customers for free if they are interested in knowing what is the factory options of their cars ..

you are right but no need to spend on it, last week i got 3-4 done for free, go to bimmerforums and a lot of guys will do it for free, you just have to PM your VIN number.
