    Carbon Fiber for E39?

Any carbon fiber kit is made for the interior of the e39?

Does this replace the wooden trim?

Or sticking on top of it?

    Anyone have pictures?

Any help will be highly appreciated ...

Check out the below web site.

I am sure there are others who provide the CF trims for the E39. Just try google.

Also, there is a shop in Al Quoz right next to the Pirelli showroom, which provides custom solutions in CF.

a little advice, dont go for over relay CF, it ll fade with time, but if u r going to keep the OEM trim, u can wrap the OEM trim with 3M DI-NOC CF sheet

The CF sheet looks cheap. IMHO!!!

Get some good quality CF panels.

As my M5 is a luxury and not a sports edition, my car was too equipped with the wooden trim, all i did was order CF Fabric, removed the trim and covered all of the interior trim with the CF Fabric and Glue..

Two years down the line, still looks new and a cheap alternative to the original CF trim..

The e Bay stuff looks fine, but you will have fitment issues.

if its already wraped, then there is no issue but im confused, usualy the wrap comming not shiny but as per the link bruno posted, its shiny! is there such kind of CF wrap shinning like the real CF parts! he mentioned real CF wraped to original trim!

This is real CF. They have layered CF over the OEM parts.

The wrap from 3M etc. is not shiny and looks very dull as you say.

i'll try to explain what the CF interiors are build off to the best of my knowledge. Usually OEM trim pieces are taken and wrapped with a CF layer, then sanding and clear coat is applied till it becomes smooth and looks hot. Others sell a layer of hardened CF, which is also sanded and clear coated multiple time, but this layer is glued to your original trim (on top of your original trim). There are no fully CF replacements to interior trims yet, (when I say full CF, as it’s been constructed from CF) thus most of the trims that you see out there are either wrapped or a solidified skin that is glued to your oem trim. Some people even wrap it with a CF cloth just like Ssense and hundreds of other people who want to maintain a CF look.

So technically you have 3 choices, 1. CF wrap replacement 2. CF Overlay 3. CF Cloth wrap

                          Highest price 1 > 2 > 3
                          Best Fitment 1 > 3 > 2
Looks are personal but 1=2 …

                          hope this helps.

i ll vote for 1 & 3, since i tried option 2 which is overelay (on my 318 steering wheel trim) but im not happy with it.
option 1 tried also (on my 318) all trims and look perfect and ll try it again for M5.
option 3 i didnt tried it but Ssense tried it and he is happy with it

The seller is offering only for the door panels.. What about the dash trim, the gear area, tire pressure button, hand brake and gear lever ? Id go for a full set, not just 4 pieces..
