Z4 soft top maintenance ???

hi guys ... yet another question from me.

how do i take proper care of the soft top on the beemer? any special products to use? only thing previous owner told me was to get it washed at the manual places to avoid damage from the auto wash .. and that's about it. i wanna keep it looking nice & dark with minimal sun damage. the car is parked always inside so i'm hoping to keep it in top shape.

any suggestions?

well i am fellow convertible owner (S2000) the tips I got from others and from search (they seem to work so far):
1- never use auto car wash
2- never use high pressure water on the soft top to prevent leaks and damage
3- use clean wet rag or sponge to clean it
4- apply "STP son of a gun" as it protects the soft top from sun light, prevent dirt and restores the black colour and gives it a nice shine (u can remove the shine if u donot like it by wiping the first layer) just make sure the soft top material is compatible with it
