Exporting Car to UK

Does anyone know any garages in Dubai which would be familiar enough with British Single Vehicle Approval (SVA) test requirements to make appropriate modifications to a BMW X5 prior to exporting to the UK? I am planning to export a 2006 American Spec BMW X5 from Dubai. I understand that the headlights on BMW’s are adjustable and would need to be modified slightly etc. and there are some other minor changes which may need to be made. I would appreciate the help.

A couple of my friends have done it, and all of them got the work done in the UK.

I believe, it is much easier that way.
