I am planning on getting a 6 speed 335 from US and was thinking of getting the Dinan Stage II SW. Cost is about $2000 and the HP/Torque goes up to 384/421 :yippy:. Seems well worth it, but the issue is Dinan & BMW warranty only covers US :thumbsdown: and if BMW comes up with a new SW version, it will erase the Dinan SW. Is there Dinan or similar ECU upgrades available in Dubai. Any suggestions are welcome..

I donno how Dinan softwares are now. Matter of a fact is that they have never had good reputation since the E36 generation. Users used to convert back to stock ECU and find more power!

What about an aftermarket piggyback ECU, I'm sure I saw them in an article somewhere (one of the BMW mag's) but I can't remember any details, and am I right in saying that a piggyback can be removed when having the car serviced so as not to invalidate any warranty????2009 45th Anniversary Mustang GT / Black / Stock

Dinan has a very good reputation in the US and e90post has a lot of good reviews. My warranty is going to expire anyway next year, but I want to do an ECU upgrade with a local tuner for after sales support and if BMW zaps the after market SW. Are there any local ECU upgrade options in Dubai?Comment

Why don't you go for stage III SW, it will drive you to 405 hp I think....... but it is more costy for sure............I saw it before on the web when I use to have my 335 earlier....
