True on that one Haissam, but stuffing 7+R gears into a single sized and pretty small gearbox is a major feat !

And, VW's box will never handle the brute power of an M V8 at 8,400RPM ! Theyre version is much lighter,smaller and more compact. It's very 'timid' compared to the DCT :D !

it's worth mentioning that the DCT concept was out there since the 30's if i'm not mistaken used on a "half-track" (a vehicle with wheels up front & tracks at the back) :pimp:
