Help: SRS light

hi guys,

Just a little help...my srs light always turns on. I noticed it happens when i have a passenger and when im stepping on the accelerator. Weird eh?

any inputs will be appreciated. Cheers

u mean the airbag right?

in most of the cases it's the seatbelt sensor, i'm talking from E36, E39 & E46 experience :)

Sounds like two possible issues,the 1st passenger seat belt pre-tensioner or 2nd passenger seat occupancy matt!.
Both are common faults?
A gt1 would tell you what the fault is?

i've seen many 2nd seat occupancy go faulty.
