Your fuel consumption after new radars

    Hi Guys,

After seeing the new radars installing every point, I have decided to obey speed limits 100% and tried to drive in a cool mode. Then, I filled my tank and reset all the thing and start driving. Previously my consuption was around
    12L/100km and now it is,

    How is yours?

All I know is if I floor my M5 or stay within the limits, my overall consumption doesnt change :dunno: With a full tank I always make somewhere around 450 Kms of driving.
Same goes for the E36, around 450 Kms of driving with a full tank.

Ive noticed that highway or city driving doesnt make any difference to the consumption, seriously..

Highway driving should give you better consumption... I average 350 km per tank, somewhere around 16L/100km

I know, but ive always recorded the mileage from 0 after I fill the tank and 450 Kms never change :dunno: whether highway or city..

Ssense, maybe you're not resetting the consumption thing?? you should do much better while highway cruising!

try to set cruise control at 120km/h (where it's safe to do that) and then resert your L/100km consumption.. you should get good numbers :)

:whathesaid: is true. there is a change but surprisingly slight

mine is around 450 to 500, always

and plus 0.2 liter of oil :read:

PS: i always obey speed limits, as i always used to in the past

(started to feel something strange in my nose)

Yes, there is a slight difference which is not very noticable, its same for most of the M5s :dunno:

well i used to drive my Z4M mostly on weekends, so i'd say it won't do better than 14L/100km during mixed driving :)

i'm wondering what kind of consuption i got during the track evening at DA
